April 28 | Honouring Lives, Committing to Safety

April 28, 2025

Observed in over 100 countries, April 28 is recognized globally as World Day for Safety and Health at Work, International Commemoration Day for Dead and Injured Workers, Workers’ Memorial Day and Canada’s National Day of Mourning to name a few.

It is a solemn day to remember those who have lost their lives, been injured, or suffered illness due to workplace incidents, and a powerful call to action to ensure such tragedies never happen again.

At Cementation, we are deeply committed to the health and safety of every person who works with us and for us. Our vision of zero harm is more than a goal—it is a shared responsibility that requires vigilance, communication, and care across every level of our operations.

We stand with others in the mining industry and beyond in reaffirming our vision:
Every worker deserves to go home safe.
Every injury is preventable.
Every one of us plays a role in creating a safer tomorrow.

Today, we remember. Every day, we act.
